Welcome to the Pet Mobility Rehab Center – Pet Wheelchairs & Aids for Disabled Pets

We specialize in pet mobility. Our goal is to let you know that you do have another choice besides euthanasia, expensive testing, and surgeries - a pet wheelchair! We also want you to know that with a pet wheelchair handicapped pets can, and do, lead happy, healthy, active lives.

When faced with a pet that can no longer walk, it’s hard to know what to do. You’ll receive advice from your veterinarian, from friends and family, and other professionals, and it’s not easy to decide what is best for you and your pet. We’re here to offer you some insights about wheelchairs, what they can, and cannot do, and what we have learned from 40 years experience working with mobility-impaired pets.

While pet wheelchairs have been around since the mid 1960’s there are still many myths surrounding their use. We would like to talk about a few of these myths and misconceptions to dispel some of the misinformation. The choices you make just now will impact your life and the life of your pet, so it’s best to get as much accurate information as possible to help you make your decisions.

Success Stories

Watch him go. He’s on his third set of wheels and still going strong!

Willy’s a 4lb. Chihuahua who was left, abandoned, in a cardboard box on a street in Los Angeles. His vocal cords were severed and a spinal trauma had left him paralyzed and unable to walk. Taken to an animal hospital, he was later adopted by Deborah Turner, his owner.

Deborah bought one of our pet wheelchairs and in doing so changed Deborah’s and Willy’s lives. Willy took to it right away and, as you can see in the video, he loves to tear around in it.

Wheely Willy is a very special and much loved dog who inspires people of all ages to conquer life’s challenges. He and his “Mom” continue their travels, visiting schools and hospitals, spreading cheer, humor and hope wherever they go. You may visit Willy on his website: www.wheelywilly.com
