| This cart will allow pets with some weakness in the front legs to continue to be mobile. It is recommended only for pets with moderate strength in the front limbs. |

| This is a Standard Two-Wheel Cart with an added extension to give support to the front limbs. The front wheels are casters and are used for guiding the cart. |

Front Extension Wheelchairs are limited as to the surface they can roll over. The front wheels are caster wheels, needed for guidance, and cannot go over rough terrain. |

Occasionally, we get requests from pet owners whose mobility impaired pet has special needs that cannot be met by one of our standard carts, such as front limb amputees and pets born with birth defects. In this case, we will create a new design to meet the needs of that pet.
We recently designed a specialty cart for a dog with a congenital birth defect (see Bogie’s picture to the right). Because Bogie’s legs were locked and tucked underneath him, they couldn’t be straightened to fit through our standard leg rings (see picture below). Our expert staff created a cart that not only met Bogie’s needs, it gave him greater mobility and quality of life.
