Helpful Measurement Tips and Photo’s |

You will need someone to assist you in measuring your pet. |
| • |
For most accurate measurements, have your pet stand in a square position with legs straight down from the shoulders and hips. |
| • |
A yardstick is best for taking cart measurements A, B, C, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L and accessory measurements 6, 7, 8. |

A cloth tape is best for cart measurement D and accessory measurements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. |
| • |
When measuring with a cloth tape, be sure to hold the tape straight and taut when taking measurements. |
| • |
If you have a large, paralyzed, dog you can lay it down on its side with its back straight against a wall and the legs extended out straight from the hips and shoulders. You can take all measurements this way except D, F, and G which have to be taken in a standing position. |

A and E should be equal to each other or with 1” difference. |
| • |
Measurement B should be about 3-8” longer than C. The smaller the pet, the smaller the difference. |

D is the circumference all the way around the chest. Measurement should be taken in a snug fashion. |
| • |
F and G are widths straight across, NOT curved. Place something flat on either side of the hips and shoulders and, taking a ruler, measure straight across. Picture your pet going through the doorway. How wide would your door have to be? |
